Before the lockdown, in March, we met a customer to which we have provided a carbon road bike rental in in Roquebrune sur Agens, on French Riviera, to enjoy cycling on the Massif de l'Estérel.

Now, in September we had the opportunity to provide our carbon road bike rental services to the same customer delivering at the Ottolire Resort in Locorotondo, a small beautiful village in province of Bari, close the Trulli building area, to enjoy cycling on the green hills of Itria Valley in Puglia, Southern Italy.

Alberobello, in Puglia region, is a marvelous small village famous for Trulli. 

Cycling around this area you can visit amazing locations such Noci and Putignano for their medieval style and Castellana Grotte to the caves. 

Going North, you may spend a day in Polignano a Mare, home town of Domenico Modugno (singer of the most famous Italian song in the world, "Volare"), go to the beach and taste a typical octopus sandwich. 

Not far from there, you can cycle to Monopoli, medieval town with a wonderful countryside where you can enjoy a typical regional lunch in one of the many masserie, old farms now converted in restaurants and farmhouse.

🚴🏾‍♂️ Today we introduce you to cycling in Locorotondo, a small village in the province of Bari, Apulia, southern Italy.
Locorotondo is listed as one of the most beautiful villages in Italy. The city is known for its wines and for its circular structure which is now a historical center, from which derives its name, which means "Round place". It is located in south-east Murgia, deep in the Itria Valley, dotted with white prehistoric roundhouses called trulli.

🍇🍷Locorotondo produces a white DOC Italian wine that can be made in a still or sparkling Spumante style. The wine is made predominantly (50-65%) from Verdeca and Bianco d'Alessano which can make up 45-50% of the blend. Additional grapes are permitted up to a maximum of 5% including Bombino bianco, Fiano and Malvasia. The finished wine must attain a minimum alcohol level of 11% in order to be labelled with the Locorotondo DOC designation.
