DAY 1: From Airport to Monferrato, Asti area
From your Airport (we suggest Milano Malpensa or Linate depending from flight availability)
take a private bus transport to
Tenuta Montemagno in the Monferrato region. Here have a
short tour of their wine cellar and a lunch/break. Rest and relax for the rest of your first day.
Set up bikes, guide meeting, and enjoy an outdoor lunch with wine tasting.

DAY 2: from Tenuta Montemagno to Torino ---> 45 miles /3500 m elevation
Torino is Italy's capital of the aperitivo with Martini, and Caffe Torino in beautiful Piazza San Carlo is iconic and conveniently en route to dinner.
Enjoy art and history during the afternoon and taste a good dinner at
Fiorfood restaurant located at Galleria San Federico, 26.
Relax and go to bed. We suggest

DAY 3 : Torino to Bra
Step 1 ---> Torino to Saluzzo will be 60 miles / 2800 m elevation
Have breakfast and then cycling west toward and along the base of the Alps with a lunch stop in the town of Saluzzo before circling back east toward the town of Bra.

Step 2 ---> Saluzzo to Bra 30 miles / 800 m elevation
Cycling to Bra, at the edge of the Langhe region, which was recently named as a UNESCO World
Heritage site for its cultural landscape and interaction between humans and nature.
Here, we suggest 2 Hotels:

Nuovo Hotel Giardini.
Before dinner at famous
Osteria del Boccondivino have a walk to the amazing Bra city center.

DAY 4: from Bra to Acqui Terme
Step 1 ---> Bra to Fontanafredda 50 miles / 5000 m elevation

Cyclists depart south through the castles region. It will be a scenic mountainous route with optional stops in towns like Barolo before finishing for a lunch just south of Alba.
Lunch at
Osteria Disguido on Fontanafredda estate and winery with optional tour if interested.
Step 2 ---> Fontanafredda to Acqui Terme 40 miles/ 3700 m elevation
Arrived in Acqui Terme, we suggest
Grand Hotel Nuove Terme. You can enjoy the
on-premises thermal water spa including saunas, steam baths, hot and cold pools.
A little walk downtown to have dinner at the
Vecchio Borgo restaurant and pizzeria.

DAY 5: from Acqui Terme to Costigliole d'Asti
Step 1 ---> Acqui Terme to Castiglione d'Asti 35 miles/2200 m elevation
After an amazing ride early morning through the Langues, enjoy a lunch in the
Agriturismo Podere La Piazza.

Step 2 ---> Castiglione d'Asti to Relais Sant’Uffizio 30 miles / 2400 m elevation
Relais Sant’Uffizio is a 17th century monastery converted into a luxury resort and nestled in a large Italian garden with outdoor pool and spa tub.
Relaxing afternoon to enjoy the beautiful location and dinner at the Relais Locanda.
