This road bicycle race is organized by RCS Sport - Gazzetta dello Sport newspaper.
Usually the Strade Bianche is scheduled in the early spring season, just before the Tirreno Adriatico road bicycle race.
This year due the Covid-19 the date of the event was extraordinarily, officially moved to 1st August 2020.
